Since opening in Macquarie Park in 2014, Verace Pizzeria has garnered critical acclaim locally, nationally and internationally. In September 2017, Verace Pizzeria won Restaurant of the Year while Stefano Cirene took out Business Person of the Year at the 2017 Local Business Awards. These accolades came only 3 months after winning Australia's Best Pizza as well as second place globally at the World Pizza Championships in Italy.
Customers and critics alike have warmed to Cirene's lauded pizza and traditional Italian fare, generating a cult following of over 15,455 followers on social media. Adhering to the strict rules of Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, Cirene works with a team of highly skilled, award-winning Chefs to ensure each pizza meets the association's criteria. The pizzeria offers an extensive menu of classic dishes that encapsulate traditional Italian flavours. Signature pizzas include: the Margherita with San Marzano Tomatoes and Fior di Latte Mozzarella; Prosciutto with Rocket and shaved Grana Padano; and the more indulgent Tartufata featuring Black Truffle and Mushroom.
